Legal
Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of paraboards.com and any purchase from ParaBoards LLC. Last updated: May 2026.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to anyone who uses this website or places an order with ParaBoards LLC ("ParaBoards," "we," "us"). By using this site or submitting a deposit or order, you agree to these terms.
2. Products
ParaBoards manufactures custom mobility systems. Every product is built to order. Because these are custom products, each unit may differ from previous units in component specification, sourcing, or finish. We build to the highest available standard using the best components available at the time of manufacture. We do not guarantee component consistency between builds. This is the nature of the product and is not a defect.
All products shown on this site are in development. Nothing is for sale yet. Pricing shown is projected and not final. See the pricing page for current figures and context.
3. Founding contributions
ParaBoards offers a founding contribution option for people who want to support development and hold a place in the production queue. A founding contribution of $150 is not a purchase, not a charitable donation, and is not tax-deductible. It is a supporter pledge made to a for-profit company.
A founding contribution of $150 will be applied as credit toward the purchase of a ParaBoards product if and when products become available for sale. It does not guarantee delivery of a product, a delivery date, or a specific price. It does not constitute a contract for sale. ParaBoards makes no representation that a product will be delivered to every contributor.
If ParaBoards is unable to fulfill any orders — due to business closure, inability to manufacture, or any other reason — founding contributions will be refunded in full. Outside of that circumstance, founding contributions are non-refundable once placed. If you have questions before contributing, contact us at sales@paraboards.com.
4. Pricing
All prices on this site are target figures unless explicitly stated otherwise. Final prices will be confirmed at the time of purchase. ParaBoards reserves the right to adjust pricing before final sale. We will not change the price on a confirmed order after payment has been received.
5. Limited warranty
ParaBoards warrants each product against defects in workmanship and damage incurred in transit, for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery. This is a limited warranty. It covers failures caused by how the product was built or how it arrived. It does not cover damage from use, modification, wear, misuse, or anything outside ParaBoards' direct control.
To make a warranty claim, contact sales@paraboards.com within the warranty period with documentation of the defect or damage. We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, all other warranties — express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — are disclaimed and excluded. Where California law requires that implied warranties attach, they are limited in duration to the 90-day period of this limited warranty.
These products are custom mobility devices intended for outdoor use. You are responsible for confirming that any product is appropriate for your body, weight, environment, and use case before purchase. If you are unsure, ask us before you buy.
6. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability
Use of any ParaBoards product involves inherent physical risk. You assume full responsibility for safe operation of the product, including adherence to any operating guidelines published in the product documentation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParaBoards LLC's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or from a product purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. ParaBoards is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or certain types of damages. In those jurisdictions, these limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted.
7. Use of this website
You may use paraboards.com for its intended purpose: learning about ParaBoards products and signing up for updates. You may not use this site to scrape content at scale, attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, or use automated tools in ways that interfere with site operation.
We collect email addresses submitted via signup forms. We use them to send product updates. We do not sell or share them with third parties. Full privacy information will be published in a forthcoming privacy policy.
8. Intellectual property
The content on this site — text, images, design, and product specifications — is owned by ParaBoards LLC. You may share links. You may quote content with attribution. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or build commercial products from our content without written permission.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at paraboards.com/terms/. If we make material changes, we will note the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from these terms or from a transaction with ParaBoards LLC will be resolved in the courts of Sacramento County, California. You consent to personal jurisdiction in that venue.
If you have a problem with a product or order, contact us first. We would rather fix it than litigate it.
