Who we are

ParaBoards LLC is a California limited liability company developing a modular mobility system. This site is paraboards.com. For privacy questions, contact us at sales@paraboards.com.

What we collect

When you submit the notification signup form on this site, we collect your email address. That is all we collect directly. We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, or payment information at the signup stage.

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure logs standard technical data when you visit — IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. We do not actively use this data for tracking or profiling. It exists in server logs for operational and security purposes.

We do not currently run advertising tracking, third-party analytics platforms, or behavioral profiling on this site.

What we do with it

Your email address is used for one thing: sending you product updates when there is something real to share. We do not send marketing emails, promotional content from third parties, or frequent check-ins. We send updates when the product status changes in a meaningful way.

We do not sell your email address. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share it with anyone who is not directly involved in delivering email on our behalf.

Third-party services

We use an email delivery service to send notifications. That service receives your email address in order to send mail. We will name the specific service here when it is in use. Any service we use is contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes.

This site is hosted on a third-party hosting platform. Standard server log data passes through that platform. We do not use external analytics services, ad networks, or social media tracking pixels on this site.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it or until ParaBoards LLC ceases to operate. If you want off the list, email us at sales@paraboards.com and we will remove you promptly.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we have about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these things, email sales@paraboards.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you additional rights. You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it. You have the right to request deletion. You have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any of your CCPA rights, contact us at sales@paraboards.com.

Visitors from the EU and UK (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, the legal basis for processing your email address is your consent, which you give by submitting the signup form. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. You also have the rights to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We are a US company and your data is stored in the United States.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted their information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change — for example, if we add analytics tools, begin processing payment information, or change our email platform — we will update this policy to reflect that before the change takes effect. The current version is always at paraboards.com/privacy/. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
